Product basics
What is GSM?
GSM is a hotel guest-service operations platform. It connects guest access, multilingual AI assistance, confirmed requests, staff delivery, private feedback, recovery, and operational reporting in one controlled workflow.
Does GSM replace hotel staff?
No. GSM supports hotel teams by turning guest needs into clear operational context. Hotel staff remain responsible for service delivery, decisions, guest recovery, and the human hospitality experience.
Guest access
Does the guest need to download an app?
No. The guest experience opens in a mobile browser through a hotel QR code or guest link. The hotel may require stay verification before protected information or service requests are available.
AI and voice
Can guests use GSM in different languages?
Yes. Hotels configure the supported guest languages within their plan limits. The assistant can use the hotel’s knowledge and service configuration to communicate in those languages.
Does the AI create requests automatically?
Not silently. The assistant prepares a request summary, and the guest can confirm it, change the details, or cancel. Only a confirmed request enters the staff workflow.
Does voice work the same way as text?
Text and voice follow the same request-safety rules, but the experiences are not identical. Rich Visual Knowledge and Local Concierge cards are text-chat features. Real-time voice is available when enabled for the hotel and assistant.
Requests and hotel operations
Can guests change or cancel a request?
Guests can revise a request before confirmation. After it enters the staff queue, GSM can handle a change or cancellation while the request remains eligible under its status and the hotel’s workflow.
What can staff see?
Authorized staff can see the request details relevant to their role, including room and stay context, department, priority, status, assignment, timeline, and the associated conversation where permitted.
Feedback and reporting
Is GSM a public review-management platform?
No. GSM supports private post-service feedback and internal recovery workflows. It does not replace public review platforms.
Security and integrations
Does GSM integrate with a PMS?
GSM includes integration foundations and supports hotel data workflows, but availability depends on the specific provider and implementation. We describe each integration according to its real production status during the sales process.
Plans and rollout
Which features are available to each hotel?
Availability depends on the property or organization plan, configuration, supported platform, assistant settings, and any project-specific integration work. GSM describes features and integrations according to their real implementation status.
How is GSM introduced at a hotel?
A rollout starts with the property context: guest journey, services, departments, team roles, languages, branding, configured targets, and any relevant data or integration requirements. Scope and next steps are agreed with the hotel after discovery.
Can a hotel start without a live PMS integration?
The appropriate setup depends on the property workflow. GSM includes hotel data and integration foundations, but a specific PMS connection is not presented as available until its provider and implementation have been verified.
